I bet Maud and her family are at their rock farm ready to go to Canterlot for the Friendship Festival but captured, imprisoned, punished, or enslaved by the Storm King and his Storm forces. I bet they make it to Canterlot offscreen after the Storm King died and Equestria was repaired and restored.

I don’t know why Neon Lights was nowhere to be seen in this movie. But I bet he also take part of the Friendship Festival and enslaved, punished, captived, and imprisoned by the Storm King and his Storm forces.
