Honestly it’s often overlooked how G4’s aesthetic was perfectly fine, or at least not creepy unlike previous generations. But also some toys tend to fall into the trap of not mimicking the show very well and looking… iffy. So the idea of mimicking an iffy toy to draw Rarity is a questionable choice to begin with.
 
I know I’m being harsh, but keep in mind WotC prides itself over having god tier artists. These folks build worlds- they’re the best. So I’ll be blunt with it. I was expecting to be blown off my rocker- I was expecting a take on Rarity that would be undeniably pleasing to look at. But instead I can’t draw my eyes away from the ridiculous amount of space between the eyes.
