I’m guessing a lot of latecomers have already heard about Friendship is Magic being good before, but they brushed it off because “It’s My Little Pony, there’s no way it’s actually good.” I mean, people have talked about it literally everywhere since at least season 3-4.

Hey just because you came in late doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot to look back on.

You’ll only have 222 episodes (including the double-length Holiday Special), plus one feature-length movie and one double-length stand-alone special to watch. So that’s effectively 224 x 22 + 99 minutes = 5,027 minutes, or 83.78 hours! That’s only 3 and a half days straight.

Binging all the Ranma 1/2 animation would take less time… I remember when that series was a benchmark for long-running cartoon…

what a coincidence, I joined the fandom in 2012 myself. I think that was in the middle of Season 2 when I joined.

Now there’s tons of episodes to watch, so it’s not something to complain about.

You’re never too late to join the herd.
 
Heck, give me some time and I might be able to get a multi-season series of fan-created episodes for everyone. ;)

Haha, absolutely nothing wrong with being a latecomer. There are still plenty of people active in the fandom despite the show and EQG ending.
 
I myself have been here since 2012, and don’t plan to be leaving any time soon.

been there with tron uprising and thundercats 2011, least this show got a proper ending
