From dejected little kid to cult leader to impulsive ex-villain to a responsible mare taking Twilight’s former place as headmare.

She has grown, a lot. She isn’t quite the same character she was in S6. The difference between Every Little Thing She Does and A Horse Shoe-In is tremendous.

Easily one of my favorite characters. Starlight Glimmer managed the most dramatic character development in the show within the short span of time we’ve known her without it coming off as forced. Her connections (and issues!) with Sunburst, Spike, Trixie, Maud and even Discord made it feel organic and genuine. <3
