I wouldn’t call it an ‘adult decision’. He said he felt stressed drawing vore because his fetish was out in the open. So basically the decision was made on emotional grounds. Both children and adults make decisions based on emotions. The real adult decision would be one made in spite of your emotions.  
(He can do what he likes, I’m just saying. Also, it’s a shame having his fetish in the open caused him so much stress)
