Sorry if this sounds rude if you like that ship. But I still hate that ship. I would never ship Spike with someone that wanted him to kill an unborn baby Phoenix. I’m sorry okay. But I just can’t forgive someone who has done so many cruel things to my little buddy Spike. But I respect your opinion if you do like this ship.

Guess you don’t know how popular applecest is around here. Heck, Shining and Twilight (both mom and daughter Twilight) get their fair share of ship art around here too.
Yes but a lot of people are into shipping siblings together. Trust me it’s all over the internet.
Spikebelle really became a thing around the end of s2. That was the same season they made Sweetie’s story arc trying to step out of Rarity’s shadow. The whole ‘she’s just a smaller, younger Rarity’ thing really rubbed me the wrong way. But like I said, shipping logic rules.
Spike x Gabby?

Wanting to ship Spike with a CMC on the assumptions that their ages are similar
= SpikeBelle
Also, he danced with her at the Cadence x Shining marriage.
Shipping is not that hard to figure out at all. Y’all make it difficult for yourselves, it’s usually quite simple.
Don’t look at me, I’m still questioning how SpikeBelle ever became a thing. Best I can answer is, its shipping. Logic be damned.
