I didn’t like how everypony was so giddy over treating Chrysalis like a prisoner and by dumbing down Twilight. I also think no matter how personal her backstory might be, we would have gotten a deeper layer over Chrysalis if she had told Twilight the real truth over “there is no origin”.

Those three were parasites to the three most sacred values in Equestria. Now they serve as examples.
 
Chrysalis was a parasite to love but now serves as an example of what happens when one is consumed by vengeance and hate.  
Tirek was a parasite to magic but now serves as an example of what happens when one takes power for themselves rather than share power with others.  
Cozy Glow was a parasite to friendship but now serves as an example of what happens when one betrays their own country and people.
 
Those three got what they deserved for all the suffering they had caused to others.
