You might, but then again, every pony knows Cozy Glow was caught and turned over to the authorities (whether or not they were told she was tossed into Tartarus is an open question). Ponies are the trusting sort; it wouldn’t occur to one that a pony–especially a little filly–would somehow manage to break out of prison and be on the loose again. And as obnoxiously cute as Cozy Glow is, she’s still just another filly in an Equestria full of the same. She might not be that recognizable.

I know ALL about changing the whole atmosphere to fit the crody mood!! Trust me!

After almost siphoning Equestria’s magic over the course of three days… you’d expect more ponies to recognize Cozy Glow on sight.
