I didn’t even get slipcovers for Seasons 1, 2, and 4 when I purchased them. Its why I don’t enjoy shopping at Amazon.

Hasbro has always dragged their feet and it comes to releasing the full Season DVDs.
 
The 1st stupid decision was re-designing the DVD cover after 5 Seasons of a consistent look.
 
The 2nd stupid decision was after 6 Season DVD Sets someone decided to stop releasing them with cover sleeves.
 
Ever since it’s been announced that Season 9 was the end of the series I t’s been a troubling thought that someone might make a 3rd stupid decision and not even release a DVD set for Season 8.
 
Instead, deciding to release a “Full Series” DVD box set.

Meanwhile, over here in the UK, we’re only now getting the Season 7 DVD in September, followed by Rainbow Roadtrip and the last two Equestria Girls specials in October. And like the US, still no Season 8 DVD announcement. :(

Season 8 was shit. Don’t worry about it.
