Right, but that’s not immediately apparent. My first impression was that the aunt was talking to Tempest, since they were headed to find Lullaby’s family. I thought she suddenly remembered being at her parents grave as a result.
She had a nightmare.
Wait, nevermind, it appears she’s just having a traumatic memory of how she became an orphan… by being abandoned by her aunt, apparently.
Tempy got them both to where Lullaby had family. The aunt explains that she doesn’t have the money to take on yet another child. Apparently this conversation triggers when Lullaby found her parents’ graves, a memory she’d repressed as being too traumatic.
