Well no true scientific definition of alive, don’t even have a true way of determining on whether someone is dead or not, Medically dead does not mean dead, and medically alive does not mean alive, and based on modern understandings of physics whether something is alive or not alive is a purely human concept and are one and the same, any definition that anyone can provide is purely philosophical, so it all depends on your own philosophy.
 
But always remember reality doesn’t care what anybody thinks, whether you think of yourself as dead or alive, or anything else as dead or alive, as far as reality is concerned it’s all the same.
