Ahhhhhhhhhh she’s so pretty!!!!!!!!! Just look at her! So pretty! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

I’ve just gotten back from visiting relatives in China. I always get back into MLP over there ’cause I only joined the fandom after watching the chinese-dubbed version, for some odd reason.

This is my old alicorn oc Moonlight Ripple. I’ve decided that she’s the Celestia to an alternate universe where the first Hearth’s Warming didn’t happen and a full-on race war broke out instead. Long story short, the unicorns dropped the sun onto the surface of the earth and basically turned everything into a desert, except for a small nameless city protected by a newly ascended alicorn named Moonlight Ripple. For a while, she rules the city as its Water Goddess, but over time she decides that “goddess” sounds too aloof and becomes a queen instead.

As she is Celestia’s counterpart, I chose a name that kind of mirrors the all-encompassing nature of both of them. “Circadia” is based off of the term “circadian rhythm,” the 24 hr sleep-wake cycle that all living things have. Since Circadia literally raises the sun and moon, she’s pretty much dictating everyone’s circadian rhythm.

Circadia is specifically associated with the moon, water, life, and magic. She has a best friend/adopted sister who rules with her associated with the sun, fire, death/rebirth, and technology.
