Description

Excerpted from Twilight’s Sparkly Sleepover Surprise:
Fluttershy sat down on the edge of the bed. She smiled at the girls. “Have you ever been to a spa sleepover?” she asked politely.
“Of course I have,” responded Sunny Flare.
“No, you haven’t,” Sugarcoat contradicted. “We talked about it, remember? But we never did it.”
“Maybe I didn’t invite you the time I had one,” said Sunny Flare.
Sugarcoat’s face crinkled up as if she was going to cry.
“You didn’t invite me, either?” asked Sour Sweet. “I didn’t know you had any other friends.”

Of all the Equestria Girls books, Twilight’s Sparkly Sleepover Surprise remains my favorite, primarily because of Sunny Flare, Sugarcoat and Sour Sweet playing MUCH bigger parts than they did in Friendship Games. The above scene always stood out for me, mostly because I have a hard time picturing Sugarcoat tearing up. Wanting some practice with my pencils, I decided to sketch it.

Still without a scanner. Please forgive the CamScan.

Sunny Flare, Sugarcoat, and Sour Sweet looking at a computer screen of derpibooru after Sunny showed them how much nsfw work of them there is and she says. “If you think that’s bad, you should see what comes up when you search Twilight and her CHS friends names.”
