Well, when Scootaloo needed an advice, I expected, that she would go to Rainbow Dash. And it would be more logical, becsause Rd was the only growth pony, who supported her all this time, according to previous 8 seasons.  
And I don’t care, how her aunts COULD support Scootaloo from the very beginning. They have never appeared in the show until 9th season, so their roles worth nothing.

Also, how do you know Scootaloo’s aunts are more important to her than Rainbow Dash is? I didn’t get that from the episode, I just got that she loves both her family and her friends.

A far better ending that satisfies what their relationship was building up to over many seasons vs forced LGBT pandering to stay ‘relevant’.

How is it head canon when he’s quoting the show? Scootaloo’s neglectful parents are canon as of this episode. Or do you need to be told directly by the show staff what’s going on? It’s lame they chose that approach for the aunts rather than showing it. It’s not like the staff don’t know how to be subtle.
 
But hey! Who knows if they add something later to change things. It’s unlikely now, but maybe we’ll find out they were around more often. But for now, assuming they were around more often is just headcanon.

Do you know how crazy that sounds? A rail system that only runs trains to and from a given destination once a month?
 
Not only would that be impractical, it would be unprofitable. The train system of equestria would be modeled after our own. And that train system would be able to get multiple train rides from city to city in a day.
 
You forget a lot of things in that listing. The sleepover at Fluttershy’s house was supervised. They snuck out on there own to the Everfree Forest.
 
All the CMC’s adventures where milder and not as dangerous as the main sixes.
 
And all of the adventures and villains are in a noblebright universe. Where good always beats evil.

But no that is nonesense because you try to ignore that the parents practically abandond Scootaloo and whenever the child is sick or injured it has to carry itself to the Hospital. It has to do all the Chores alone. Gets no help for homework. And is Overall alone.
 
BTW if I would build a real strawman here I could say that it is possible thanks to this very Episode to Claim that her aunts can only meet them once a month since apperantly there are traintracks in Equestria that only run 1 time a month. I already gave them once a week since they are from out of town by Train and got their own lives to life.

Outside of a few notable flare ups, normal life in Ponyville is stable and safe.
 
Even when zed flareups happen, the main 6 always protect ponyville where as scoots parents jobs are consistently more dangerous.
 
It’s not the ideal relationship, but it’s pretty damn clear they love her.
