The next seasons will be using the elements in more dynamic fashions hopefully. Like, mastering each element to unlock their hidden power. (yes, I am a Super Rainbow Dash fan)

Its anime as hell, but I really don’t have a problem with that, and its the only way to reintroduce the elements of harmony is super significant.

I would hope Celestia took that magic lock off the Element’s door. Because if that was still there, it would have made it impossible for them to retrieve the Elements during the wedding, had they gotten past the Changlings. Not like it actually stopped anybody anyway.

Simple. Many episodes(Bridle Gossip, Canterlot Wedding, Last Roundup, most CMC episodes) are idiot plots in which the main plot of the episode could be solved in 2 minutes or less if the characters weren’t acting stupid.

Seriously, an explanation of why the Elements weren’t used would’ve been nice, even if it’s just because Celestia sold them so that she could buy more cakes to stuff herself with.
