More likely its Trixies fault.

Starlight is currently the best, most well behaved character on the show. Shes more likely to fix the mistake caused by someone else.

I can’t tell if Trixie is trying to pull Flurry out of the monsters grip or using her as a shield. Both options are in character for Trixie.
