Dragon eggs need volcanic levels of heat to incubate, apparently. Honestly, it’s not that shocking of a twist insofar as modern fictional dragons go.

Right I remember now. Blue/violet is the highest energy radiation on the color spectrum. If something is emanating blue or violet light it’s very hot.
I kept thinking the ending of “Monsters, Inc.”
And then Dragon Lord Ember read them the riot act for laughing at Garble, even though that was his plan all along. Way to send mixed messages, writers.
The problem wasn’t solved with bullying. He made the dragons laugh at how silly he was acting to activate their laughing fire.
