It’s an exotic restaurant, I guess they assumed him as part of the staff.
The weird thing is a attitude that comes from nowhere. Spike is the only dragon raised in Canterlot. But those 2 ponies act as if it was common to see a dragon as a waiter.
That was the point.
I mean, you used to see these kind of scenes a lot in older movies. A black main characters goes to a rich place full with rich white assholes, the rich guys then assume the black guy is their new servant and wants him to do shit for them.
True but there’s a line between being a servant and being a doormatt. I personally don’t see Spike this way but apparwntally there are those who do.
