As for the reason for the rename from Malal to Malice? Well…the rights to the original Malal character wasn’t held by Games Workshop (The creators of Warhammer & Warhammer 40k) but by the author that created them and, well, you can see this lead to some complications when said author no longer worked FOR games workshop.
Ah, that’s neat
Malal was renamed to Malice and appears in a story from 2011 while his followers appear in Fall of Cadia, though he himself isn’t mentioned.
So… is it even slightly canon?

That Belongs to the fifth Chaos God Malal, the Renegade god of Destruction…who was kinda/sorta retconned-ish (It’s complicated).

Judging from how the episode ended, I’m guessing Sombra’s drinking crystal-laced tea with the Squats about now.
But he was also the one to go out on his own and ignore teamwork.
