I love the analogy this episode made with the Castle of the Two Sisters and the Treehouse of Harmony. The student six reminds me a lot of Gen Z - all varied and unique in appearance, personality, and culture, but able to harmonize together and carry forward the future.

W-Well, I myself just would h-have preferred our h-heroes actually loosing one of their Magical WMDs, e-especially since the writers are trying to build up t-this “League of Doom” w-with Grogar himself at the head. W-Would have been a nice raising of the stakes, s-something this show desperately needs.
 
E-Especially if this s-show is doing w-what I think it’s going to do. S-Since the Mane 6 don’t need the elements anymore (as far back as Season 4 and the original battle against Tirek) a-and the Student 6 have a bond with the tree, I-I suspect they might become the new Element Bearers. I-If so, this currently redundant WMD i-is going to become a lot less redundant.
 
O-Oh yeah and also the Crystal Castle out of n-nothing routine is just something I don’t like personally. I-I would have preferred it if it was something t-they built themselves…o-or maybe asked every s-student in the school to help them with it.

This is gonna sound really stupid but one of the reasons I’m glad the tree is alive is because my friend made a fanon thing around it and I want to show support to him by also talking about the Tree of Harmony’s condition.

Well I’m not sure what else you expected when you made a statement that reads:
 
“Your subjective opinion is wrong because I have a different subjective opinion, so there”
 
There really is nothing that constructive that can come out of that. My statement clearly wasn’t based in objectivity, so it can’t be ‘wrong’ by default. Of course if I said that feeling was based on something objective then we could have a debate about that.
 
But as it stands, I don’t know what you expect. How are you supposed to ‘prove’ I’m wrong for disliking it, for visca-versa?

I-i don’t think anypony’s arguing that point. I just don’t like the “Magical Crystal Palace out of nothing because friendship” routine, this is the second time they’ve done it now.
 
I wouldn’t have minded them building something like this themselves. How they’d do that I’m not sure, I’m just not a fan of the magical-crystal plot-substance.

Ain’t even mad, like I’m sure some are. The Student 6’s hearts were in the right place and their efforts may have resurrected a powerful Equestrian demigod.
 
Plus, this crystal castle looks waaaaaaaaaaay better than the one in Ponyville. The fact that it’s located where the Castle of the Two Sisters was/is and actually is a tree itself just makes it cooler to me.
 
I look forward to seeing where this is going.
