I never said they didn’t exist, just that aren’t normally cordless, but I will say hers is styled like a corded one from the 1980’s.

Actually, cordless hair dryers do exist, but you’re right that their strength is exaggerated due to “cartoon logic”. Basically, this is a gag based on assuming Rarity carries a dryer around at all times (she always has to look good, LOL)…

It’s a lot more common with farm trucks than Cadillacs; I’ve known quite a few mismatched pickups in my day.
