This IS My Little Pony we’re talking about. “Twee” goes with the territory.
It is a bit more… @PonyPon described it as “twee” and that seems accurate. If anything, it evokes more of G3 than G4.

We actually have that logo here (uploaded 4 years ago, in fact). It’s credited to Robin Mitchell, one of the character designers for the show.

That’s actually FiM’s early logo from the 2017 leak.
Not a big fan of the logo either. But I’m not about to judge a book by its cover.
It does look a bit more “twee”, doesn’t it?
Was thinking we’d have a bigger break for transition between gens.
