And it looked like Tierk was giving her a piggy back ride, I imagine she and Tierk were posing for the sculpture. Plus there were plunder vines in Ponyville, so Tirek is there. I really hope we see the villians interact and playoff each other, I feel Tirek and Cozy Glow would be a best friends duo.

Either that, or Cozy had some of the brainwashed slaves sculpt the statue of her and Tirek(with her getting a piggyback ride, so I’m guessing she and Tirek are getting along well)

It looked to me that they had been crystallized, possibly from the Crystal Heart being activated. I assumed Cozy Glow was riding on top of Tirek as they made their escape from Tarterus.

There was a 2017 leak that showed a Cozy Glow on top of a Tirek. It looked like a statue.  
I thought that it was s08 content for the finale, Cozy Glow showing off,but I was wrong.

That makes sense. Actually, it would all make sense, if Tartarus was actually Tambelon.  
Grogar’s Arrival triggers it’s dark powers and a new Kingdom arises. This one is protected and isolated from Equestria, letting Grogar and his armies attack and flee without being caught.
 
 
Really with the Young Six becoming the new Guardians and basically soldiers for The Royality 6(7 with Spike as Regent) I can see Grogar trying to get them kidnapped and trying to get them to turn them into weapons.

They could be comparing Grogar to Thanos because there may be a high chance of Grogar’s evil plan actually succeeding partly, that force the Elements of Harmony to recreate the world into what’ll be known as G5…
 
I still think that’s the best action here. Like, just connect the two continuities, if they’re going to have the same characters and what-not.

It’s like the Mortal Kombat opponent roster.

Before Thanos was introduced in the MCU, people compared him to Darksied, saying he was MLP’s Darksied and Tambelon was Apokalypse.
 
I see no real basis for him being compared to Thanos other than because Thanos is popular right now.

As for them working together, well actually I can see it long term. All Grogar needs to do, is offer them “Warlord” statues once he conquers Equestria(and the world) allowing them to have whatever territories they want as their domains, Warlord(would be his version of a governor)

My guesses as to what happens to them in the end:  
Grogar- Metaphysically annihilated  
Cozy Glow- Turned into a statue  
Lord Tirek- Turned into a statue  
King Sombra- Destroyed as before  
Queen Chrysalis- Purified against her will and imprisoned  
Ahuizotl- Sent to the moon

People keep saying Grogar is like Thanos….I disagree, I think he’s more like Vandal Savage or Doctor Doom.

Cozy Glow would be at the bottom. Tirek would probably be near the top but probably below Grogar. His ability to negate and absorb magic to become stronger makes him very dangerous. Tirek and Ahuizotl are at the bottom because they are the biggest from the looks of it.
