I more see it as Starburst getting sunk by the long period the two were separated, plus the events of Season 5 for Starlight, so they just remain friends, while as her first friend I can see Starlight and Trixie potentially evolving into matespritship.
That’s why Bluetrix is kinda outdated nowadays, only until if they finally interact in canon as the main focus of an episode, it became hilarious in hindsight and its trend will rise again. Bluetrix right now is as bad as shipping Twilight with random bland stallions.
Don’t really care for the whole shipping thing myself. Can’t two ponies just be friends?
Eh, I’m not a fan of Starlight/Trixie shipping. Not with Sunburst around at any rate.
I was referring to Trixie, who to the best of my knowledge has never even been in the same episode as Blueblood.
