he and Apogee can bond over their taboo relationships with their respective parents.
Actually, having someone like Button around could be advantageous for both of them. I mean, it’s not like Apogee and her dad (or Button and his mom) can go on dates or anything like that. There would definitely be some unwanted attention. But double dating… well, then it just looks like the parents are chaperoning their kids, and no one pays attention.
