It’s ya boi, Capper and his definitely not shady buddy Mendax.

For those you don’t know(or even asked), Mendax is a alternate version of Capper. Or to put it more accurately, Mendax is originally Capper’s initial design. He is some sort of fox like creature with extra pairs of eyes and a scorpion tail(to which i have drawn, so wait up for that). I guess they changed him into a cat because they think foxes are dicks? *cough*Robin Hood, Nick Wilde, Tod*cough*

Anyway, making this art was challenging. Took me almost around 2 and a half hour to finish, i guess? Mainly because i don’t have the right background(which is supposed to be Klugetown) and that i take the extra time to add some minor details like the glowing eyes and that shade of light(which kinda looks annoying tbh and i should’ve just decreased it by little).

Now, since most of my MLP art has the characters mostly drawn in my headcanon style(similar to Lopoditty’s smol habit on drawing anthros), Mendax has a minor role in my MLP/EqG hadcanon. In a way that he isn’t exactly canon, because he’s, well Capper’s original design.
In the headcanon, Mendax helps Capper on how to live in the shady town of Klugetown, after Capper is betrayed by his former buddy Chummer(also spoiler i guess). Capper has a hard time trying the trust Mendax due to his name literally means ‘Liar’ and that his tail keeps saying things that are the opposite of his words(yeah, Mendax has a talking scorpion tail, neat). Since Capper has no other choice, he teams up with Mendax, doing their usual hi-jinx and crap. Until one day, Storm Soldiers arrive to look for an artifact that Capper had stole from the Storm King. Mendax(not wanting to have his cat-boifriend taken away) lies(which is his shtick) and proceeds to claim that he has the artifact. Of course, he doesn’t exactly know what it is, but he decides to run away allowing the guards to chase after a liar(because guards in MLP are idiots) and leaves the sad cat boi behind with nothing but the memories of the times where he could’ve became bi, until his straightness when he meets Rarity. Fin! :^3
