your current filter.They’ve known each other since they were foals, but they didn’t necessarily grow up together. I don’t recall any indication that they actually hang out when they were younger.
Fluttershy’s closest friend among the Mane Six is almost certainly Rainbow Dash. And she’s almost certainly Rainbow Dash’s best friend too, although the two don’t often show it. Of the Mane Six, they are the only two who grew up together. They’ve known each other since they were foals.
||Yes I know her being “better friends with Rarity than all the others” is debatable but still, I remember getting that impression from the past a long time ago. I believe there was an episode from season 1 that implied they were friends before they met Twilight. Whatever. ||
