Okay, I know this is a really dramatic and horrifying scene for poor Stygian, but that giant over-the-top ‘SHAME!’ text made me giggle a bit when I first read this.

After going over the other IDW comics, this feels… oddly satisfying. After trying desperately to paint Stygian as the innocent little flower mistreated and abused, too pure and noble for this world, we actually get a scene where his actions come to haunt him—and not just in a way that allows him to feed more into his self-pity and blaming everypony else.
