The last tier set I liked was Warrior T13 (Deathwing) Most Tier sets after TBC were meh. Some were good (Pally T10 IMO) but most are just really stylized plain armor. The Pandaland challenge gear is what some of the Tiers should look like. Thank lord for Transmog and AQ tier.

Exactly what I was thinking! That set is the epitome of aesthetically pleasing armour design imo. Then it all went to shit, with some minor exceptions every once in a while (like warrior t6, as Stricken stated).

The Burning Crusade was like the 90s of WoW - neon and flourescent colours everywhere, and lots of cool, and useless trinkets (not literally trinkets as items .) to play with.

Well some WOTLK sets DID look good.  
TBC was mostly pastel eyerape (because demons)
 
And i don’t care about anything WoW related past WotlK.
