I dunno why Spike and AJ work so well together. Maybe it’s the compare/contrast. They’re both hard workers and terrible liars, Spike has a ways to go before he becomes a man of integrity, and Applejack is in serious need of moral support when she can’t fulfill that role.

Hey, that episode was released on my birthday. I should be the angriest of all. But it still gave me the idea of Spike being a damn good masseuse, and that has value outside of the episode.
