LIES! TREACHEROUS LIES!
That barbaric practice hasn’t been legal in Equestria since the Discordian Era.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

The more we find out about it the more hands-off it looks. I miss the days where we thought Celestia and Twilight were practically mother and daughter, but, lo and behold, Cadance was the one who took care of her, and given Twilight’s irrational stupid fear of Celestia, they never interacted much outside of the learning environment… And all young children fear their teachers on some level. Twilight’s pretty immature even now, she clearly never got over that fear.

So really, there’s not much between them, even though Celestia is almost solely responsible for molding Twilight into the fine upstanding citizen she is today.

Now, she might be close to Spike. He was in Canterlot every now and then, maybe he misses his mom.

Celestia’s glad the little fuck is mortal.

For the longest time, Celestia desperately wanted to be a mother, perhaps to know that sort of peace and fulfillment, and to maybe atone for what happened to Luna. Celestia’s wishes are humble, she just wants to be a normal pony, because she never got the chance. Motherhood brings her closer to that.

And then she has Blueblood, who at the first signs of autonomy shows that he is a pompous, worthless asshole. No matter how hard she tries, Celestia can’t shake the douchebaggery out of him. Celestia promptly disowns him and pretends he’s her nephew, and crosses “motherhood” off her list of things she feels she needs to attain to become “normal.”

Sad story bro.

If Celestia is a god, and she gave birth, would her offspring be the pony equivalent of Jesus?
