I was sick over the weekend so I couldn’t put as much time into this as I’d wanted, but here’s a cute sketch I coloured for the 8th anniversary of MLP:FIM.
Eight whole years since this show first aired, and we’re still drawing horses. What a wonderful universe this is!
I apologise for the sketchy lines and poor handwriting, as always. I tried to fit as many gals in as I could, and I couldn’t leave out Spike, either!

Why remove Spike? He’s been with Twilight before the start of the there adventures in ponyville?

Shimmer ‘n’ Glimmer may not have been here since the show’s inception, but they’re definitely major characters that have been added to the franchise (note franchise, not just the show) in one way or another over the years. I wanted to celebrate as much of the show as I could in a single picture as possible, hence the inclusion. I appreciate they’re not to everyone’s taste, but at the end of the day it’s my drawing and I’m too lazy to edit them out now :)
Also for anyone wondering Shimmer is in as pony because I thought it would look pretty weird to have 7 ponies, a dragon, and an eqg girl all in one picture
Starlight is part 9f the main series, so my logic is spot on.
