Still, he took care of Apogee while getting his degree, so how did that prevented Delta from getting hers? Universities aren’t rare, and she should be smart enough to get hers if she tried. Doesn’t help that it’s unclear whether he got her pregnant on purpose or accidental, but was still more than willing to help take care of Apogee to ease Delta’s burden either way. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he offered her a job, but she was too prideful and bitter to get out of her hole.
I mean that was the least he could do after screwing their both lives out of clingness.
Also, I heard that the canon of the main comics has it that Delta run away a few months after Apogee was born, meaning that it’s quite possible that Jet was the one that took care of her during university.
Thing is, it’s far from unheard of for women who recently gave birth to continue their pursuit and get a degree, Delta just quit when thing got hard and blamed others instead of improving herself.
Don’t blame the weak and innocent, she’s 10 times better physics/engineer than he is, world’s just a
bitchsometimes :/I think it was Delta that ruined her own dream, Jet was just her excuse.
