The terminology is a little off. If the failed clones were in fact 19 day old fetuses, they’d be tiny… almost imperceptible. If they were newborns who only lived 19 days, then we’d see the scenario presented here.

I’ve quite forgotten the original comic: how is it that Spike didn’t know any of this? Was he not with Twilight at this time?
