Could Wild Fire’s replacement be because she just wasn’t “girly” enough? Hasbro might have felt that there wasn’t enough pink in Dash’s little team so they chose Sibsy’s pony to be change. To boost sells or something. I wouldn’t know. I’m not a “genius” at marketing. This is only a theory so don’t take it too close to heart.

Well,I’m not a big fan (lol) of fan pandering but I really don’t understand the suits’ reasoning for taking Wild Fire from the scene and then allowing another Pegasus OC with horrible color scheme * cough * Midnight Strike * cough * at the same time.Fan pandering sounds a ridiculous excuse on their part.Wild Fire belongs to Hasbro.Even Sibsy said it.

Think about it. She was bickering with her husband (seriously, why would a boyfriend pay for a hooficure?) when Twilight was a little filly! Nopony should be starting out at the Wonderbolt Academy that late in life.

So Flowershine was supposed to be Wildfire? DO they even know how much more awesome that episode would’ve been if she was in it!?!
 
Sigh, executive meddling: a million times worse than pandering will ever be. Why is it that anyone with a suit who goes near something that’s nice, ruins it? It’s almost like a fucking disease or something, yet they moronically believe they’re “improving the show” by getting a stranglehold on it.
 
Any executives reading this (all zero of them, I know), PLEASE LET THE STUDIO DO WHAT THEY DO. IT’S WHY WE LIKED THE SHOW IN THE FIRST PLACE. You don’t thank a fireman for saving you from a burning building, just to rush right back in there.

I really don’t understand why people think that the staff is pandering to anyone. Frankly, I don’t see how they’re not just making episodes the way they’ve always done.

I hope they pander so much that the people who complain against pandering stop watching all together.
