That’s why I said it would affect which hormones you produce, though thank you for reiterating that point, because it should be made clear in all discussions that there are likely to be permanent physical changes even within a short timespan.
 

 
Trying to circumnavigate the current medical red tape through an online or OTC alternative is seriously dangerous (risks of permanent renal system damage, as well as adverse reactions to “mystery pills”) and usually costs at least as much as proper medical HRT, while also sometimes making it more difficult to get HRT scrips in the future should that be your intent and the mystery internet tiddy pillz are just a stop-gap measure.
 
I would not recommend homebrewing, though in cases like Alhazred (where their ideal body-type is more intersex than default masculine or feminine) the person in question would likely need to because I can see doctors not going along with that plan in many places (though, again, one should consult a doctor before trying anything if at all possible, and keep in touch with them even if they’re going against the doctor’s recommendations to avoid long-term medical complications).

Normally when someone stops HRT cold-turkey their body resumes producing enough estrogen and testosterone within a month or so to halt and eventually reverse the loss of bone-mass.
 
The amounts of E and T will most likely not be the same as pre-HRT levels without medicinal regulation, but the osteoperosis is almost always only a temporary danger (though is definitely major enough to keep in consideration).

I do enjoy drawing him. He’s not exactly a moneymaker in my art and there’s a lot of sexual situations that I’d prefer to use other characters in, but when I’m in between jobs or just want to draw something cute or fun or casual he’s my go-to.  
Yeah he’ll likely go a bit further, but this is pretty close and about where I’d like to keep him. My goal is androgynous face, barely noticeable breasts and tall but thin torso with average to thicker thighs and ass.

Not gonna alter his dick size. As it stands right now he uses magically non-euclidean-space panties to hide his dick and balls for tight pants.

Same here! Ralek could have just drawn him as bottom for a while until people got used to the idea, either in his personal pictures or like you’ve said by restricting his role. I too would have found situations where he is bottom to be hotter with his old and traditionally zeeb body style… That being said, if Ralek doesn’t enjoy masculine bottoms, there is nothing we can do other than perhaps try to commission it.
 
I do wonder though… those shorts look awfully tight! Is there a chance that whatever the zeeb is using to drain away his masculinity can also be affecting the size of his stallionhood or his ability to procreate? I really wish we could see that part of his change in more detail!

A good point, but it’s not really that simple. A lot of what I draw specifically appeals to me, and masculine bottom isn’t really my fetish. So I didn’t have much motivation to draw him as such.  
Now with him appealing more toward me as an artist, I’ll hopefully feel more inclined to draw him in bottom scenarios more often.  
Though don’t get your hopes up too high because I say ‘more often’ knowing full well that he’ll still likely be 70% top, because ironically through all of this I found I liked feminine top more than feminine bottom. lol

If he wasn’t being used in the way you intended, why not just have him be temporarily restricted to certain roles in ych till people got used to the idea?  
Personally, I actually preferred his more masculine appearance. A masculine Zebra that wasn’t exclusively a top? A rare find.

Genderfluid might be the best term. While if asked preference he’d say he/him, he doesn’t mind anyone calling him any gender if it makes it easier on them to remember. He’s easy going as fuck so he doesn’t mind anything like misgendering too terribly much. But glad I can draw an interesting character for peeps either way.

That said I do love the concept of him being an explicitly transsexual character. We don’t really have many of those that are drawn by such good artists or represented consistently / terribly well, so seeing more trans characters is always a treat for somebody like me.

Oh! He identifies as male? Well, that changes things. If that’s the case then he’s still male.
 
Now if Alhazred started identifying as female, yeah. Though, how’s he doing it, HRT, Magic? If the former, it’s kind of a one way road- you stop after being in it long enough and you risk osteoporosis because you’re gonna’ stop producing testosterone. So those taking hormones need to be really serious about wanting that change (though they can feel free to keep their junk.)
 
Seems to me you want the character to be genderfluid. Which is totally cool too..! It can be a bit of a minefield, navigating all this stuff, even for transwomen like me.
 
But if Alhazred identifies as a man, he’s still male, so it’s still straight.
