In brief, please follow our rules.
 
The original artists retain their rights, so if you are editing and uploading someone else’s work without their permission or in a way that doesn’t comply with their stated expectations for how their work may and may not be used, then we’ll delete the edit you uploaded and will ask you to not do that again. If you keep doing it, or you do things like leaving comments claiming that you have some sort of right to use other people’s work without their permission, then we will remove your ability to use the site.
 
Basically, if you can’t find the original artist of the images that you are editing, then please don’t edit them. Draw your own art.
 
Beyond that, this isn’t really a support chat channel - please come to -help in IRC or check out the Site & Policy forum if you would like more information or if you need help interpreting the rules.

Yes, we do expect you to follow our rules and to do your best to make sure that your uploads are tagged correctly. If that means you need to verify the tags on other images, please do so.

I will tag the image correct, but could you blame me when tags were either missing or the wrong tags were used on the 2 original images that i used to make this edit, how would i supposed to know what tags i were supossed to use.

Could everyone please drop it? The drama is over, everyone hopefully has said what they want to say, the tags are fixed (my thanks to the artist who fixed their own tag - sorry about that), and it’s time to move on.

In the future, please tag the artists whose work you are using in your edits, make sure they are not DNP on this site and that you comply with any requirements they have on their own work, and - ideally - ask people’s permission before using their work.

Please just fix the tags next time you see something like this, or report it if there’s a problem. There’s a wee bit too much vigilanteism going on here.

To be fair, you were being in an “I don’t care” mood from the beginning when we started to say that she was an art thief. You don’t say that when people who work really hard on this pictures can read that.

I made that statement in a little anger, read the entire thing and you can see that it’s escalating for every post.
 
I didn’t know who made it in the first place, the name Superbobiann was just in the tags of the Nyx picture, i didn’t know it was a mistake, i just assumed that Superbobiann was the one who made it & i would have credited the real artist if i had known.
 
Yeah i do see your point & i will respect that, but you also got to see it from my side, you have got to have seen the rising tentions, i was reasonable in the beging, but as they went on & on & on, it went from curiosity to anyone to irritation to frustration to anger & to fury, you got to take in to acount the whole picture, sort of speaking here.

Because when we see someone stealing people’s ‘hard work’ that is something we care about.

All i wanted to do was to make an edit, so i checked the picture & the vector i was going to use to make sure that non of them was on the DNP list & made it. I copy pasted the tags that was from the 2 pictures & then i got some pepole who started asking me questions like, do you know who this is & what who was & i just couldn’t care less, if i made a mistake then tell me & say hey you made an error her but don’t worry i fixed it for ya, instead of being like blood sucking leeches on my flank, i don’t mean to be rude but when i get attacked like this i must have at least some way of defending myself don’t you think, i mean i can’t just sit there and be forced to take it all right?
