Diamonds must be GIGANTIC for them to be shattered simply by dropping them on a ground. Even glass marbles generally don’t do that.

Diamonds are very hard, yes, but they’re not tough. They’re brittle! You can break a diamond if you hit it hard enough with a hammer.
Nephrite Jade, for instance, is softer than quartz, but it’s very tough! It might be more easily scratched, but far tougher to shatter.
That is a very incorrect statement.
Make how natural made gems can break so easily?
It’s almost Impossible to break it.
Glass on other hand is not carbon.
It’s takes one diamond to break another.
So is Raritys heart.
tell that to owners of gorilla glass smartphones! quite the opposite, delicate yet expensive!
You’d be surprised how brittle some gems are. Diamonds can easily be shattered by hitting it hard enough.
