That’s an interesting bit of lore. The stars viewed from Earth do move, but incredibly slowly. The constellations we see today would’ve still been recognizable 10,000 years ago, and will still be recognizable 10,000 years from now. That Twilight believes that the positions of the stars in the Equestrian sky had changed radically since the time of the Pillars implies that Equestria’s stars move much faster than ours.
