your current filter.Adding on to this idea is that the same lack of eyelashes for male characters can be applied to ponies and some other species it seems from browsing the mlp wikia character list images.
After studying the image for some time, I realized why it’s a male: the (lack of) eyelashes. All the female characters have them, but none of the males do.
Or it be just a naturally androngynous built race. It woukd maje sense given Kirin in mtyhology did not really seem to have any key gender dimorphism to speak of.
