Description

Been watching this horse show lately. Here´s CGI fan-art.
I sculpted the 3D-mesh in ZBrush and groomed the hair and fur in Maya´s XGen. Rendered in Arnold.

Can I make a request?

If it’s not too much trouble, could you re-upload this pic with a few tweaks? It’s incredibly brilliant what you have so far, and I’m just hoping you’d be willing to maybe try and make it even better than it already is?

My suggested/requested tweaks are as follows:
  • Could you make the teeth seem more like actual enamel, with a slight shine to show they’re like legit teeth? Right now they just look like a plushie’s sewn on mouth style.
  • Could you remove the hooves to make it more like the show?
  •
  • Could you take the lips denoted by the differing color from the rest of her body, and make them colored like the rest of her body, and just change the texture to be skin like, so that it’s not so much lips, but like the start of the inside of her mouth?
  • Could you change the red at the base of her tail so that it looks like each hair is connecting to her flank? Right now it just looks like the red part of her tail is being used as the base stitching to attach the rest of the hair to her bum.
-Could you change the flight limbs to be covered in fur rather than feather down? Having her primaries be feathered is perfect, but only birds have all over feathers and having her wings abruptly turn to feathers rather than gradually switch from fur to feathers looks strange. Also could you change the wings to match the rest of her fur’s color pallet? It’s odd seeing them be a lighter shade of blue than the rest of her is.

Please don’t view these as criticisms? What you’ve created so far has got to be the best CGI pony I have ever seen and I only want to see your work achieve even greater heights than it’s already reached. If that’s ok with you… If you’d rather not, that’s fine. :)
