Verdict is in: I ate the red herring. Neighsay had never met her before the season finale.
 
However, there’s still zero evidence for her being Chrysalis, and the fact that she didn’t gloat when she thought she was alone with Starlight about revenge being a motive sealed it, not to mention she declared herself an “Empress”.

Well the episode she actually shows up in, she’s already got a plan, so Starlight isn’t important enough to deal with cuz she just needs the hairs to do it.  
But after it failed, she fell back onto her original plan which is why she needs to keep up face and make it less suspicious by acting like a filly would.

One thing strikes me as extremely odd with this theory, and it’s that Cozy Glow acts completely different around Starlight, than Chrysalis does one episode later. She displayed zero contempt for her, and yet she couldn’t bring herself to talk to her for two seconds one episode later? Something doesn’t seem right with that idea.
 
And she’s probably working with Neighsay. She echoed his mindset, whereas I highly doubt Chrysalis is racist to non-ponies in particular, instead looking down upon all of them equally.

I already thought she was evil from the first episode, now I’m certain shes chrysalis, infiltrating the school.

Cozy Glow may be evil, but suddently she is just a filly…
