Basically, an argument broke out that managed to make every other kirin follow suit and turn into niriks, burning their own village in the process. Their ruler, Rainshine, then opted for them to go into the stream of silence, where they not only remain mutes, but don’t feel emotions, including the anger that caused the ruin of their village to begin with.

I read the synopsis and it says that they’re afraid of hurting one-another’s feelings, which bought mixed flashbacks of Black Rock SHooter’s overarching premise and Anthem of the Heart.
