I guess you didn’t hear that Hasbro is the new parent company of Boulder? They’re putting those on there because they’ll probably be responsible for most of the animated content for Hasbro now.
 
And they can’t use the stuff they’ve been working on, because most of it hasn’t been announced yet, but Hasbro probably wanted some well known brands on display.

Movie-style Pinkie probably means next year’s holiday special (the one they’re animating) is gonna be in this style.

I am surprised that Boulder has put the movie version of pinkie pie on their bil-board. Seriously, I know Hasbro bought Boulder but Boulder has yet to even start on anything related to MLP. This blatantly makes it look as if Boulder was responsible for the movie, which they had no part of. Top Draw studios, the same studio that does all the animation NOT DHX Do you even read the show’s credits in the show, did the movie as well.

The same can be said about Transformers, they are stealing the credit for what another studio has done and I think that is just rude. A logo saying “Coming soon” would be more accurate than stealing another studios artwork.

Boulder animated a Happy Birthday video for Netflix, Celestia’s Fundamentals of Magic and, like Northern Haste said, most of the Summertime Shorts. As I mentioned before, Gen 5 is quite probably going to be animated there!

Yep, that’s right! Hasbro bought Boulder Media in 2016 and plans to send all of their future cartoons to be animated there. I think only MLP and Hanazuki aren’t animated there!

According to the leaks, Boulder Media is going to animate next year’s holiday season (and Gen 5). The movie’s drawing style is probably a leftover from their original plan of making a sequel.
