Barbara mowed down Daleks with a truck destroyed mind-controlling brain creatures, rescued herself from a tyrant’s harem, destroyed a quasi-Lovecraftian horror with a device she’d never used before, came up with that mud-on-the-lens trick, and the list goes on!
 

Good old Ian and Barbara. I’m surprised we didn’t see Ian again all the while Coal Hill School was back. I know Sarah Jane once said they haven’t aged, but they could chalk that up to holograms or something. He wears a thing that makes him look the actor’s current age so people won’t ask questions?
 
I know we lost Barbara’s actress to cancer in the 90s but she could be acknowledged via stock audio or being heard over the phone with her main audio drama actress.
