I see. It looks very Hollywood Dudebro, which I’ve always found completely misses the point of the real Velociraptor, which is more like some sort of Insidious Land Hawk.
Also
I’m going to let this slide because I assume that this is out of ignorance and not malice. We haven’t thought this since John Ostrom’s work back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Even Jurassic Park, for all its faults, heavy impressed the fact that dinosaurs are much more like birds than other reptiles.
I don’t know my lizards at all, you’re right.
All i know is it’s this guy and the streamers called him a raptor.
