As interesting as this genuinely is, it begs the question – how did all this stuff find its way into Celestia’s ownership, anyway?

Princess Celestia’s love for cake was insatiable and her ponies were following her example. When Equestria’s royal treasury was running low to cover for the populous’ demand, they began to exporting Poppy Tears. The flood of Poppy Tears into the various kingdoms of world had a negative effect of its denizens, leading to the addictive commodity being banned. Equestria resorted to black market activities and if that wasn’t enough, war was waged against the offending kingdom until Equestria’s demands were met. Unequal treaties were signed and the spoils of war were displayed in the many public museums and schools to show Equestria’s glorious victory over the barbaric outsiders.
