Rarity, long a mid-level trustee in the Princess Twilight regime one day found herself cast out of Equestria along with a diaspora of Monarchist supporters, fleeing in fear of their lives or titles in the great Equestrian revolution. Covertly assisted by the Crystal Empire, she and the bulk of the Equestria diaspora were consolidated into a contra army to overthrow the popular new government of Equestria. Rarity found herself a field commander in the Everfree.

I think it’s Dash who’s really into this stuff. She is lazy. She is trying to perfect her flying skills. And she is very fond of the only thing that can be booze in her world.  
The wild colours of her mane and tail also can be a hint.

A few days after Rarity was recruited into the Cathacan Jungle Fighters, she became so triggered by the filth and mud she dedicated herself to destroy every single xeno and heretic so she can have enough free time to clean (and later fabulize) the galaxy, just as the Emperor intended.
