I was browsing through and fawning over Scootalove pics, when I noticed the artist who did this Scootaloo adoption pic updated the image to include Cheerilee into the picture.  
I don’t know if many people would find that kind of update to be significant, but I really enjoy this picture.  
While I don’t know how I feel on the head canon that Scootaloo is a orphan, I still enjoy any kind of happy ending for her, since she seems to be such a tragic and endearing character, atleast until the show FINALLY decides to show if she has any parents at all, and if they do, I’m sure it will be some sort of happy kind of normal family, with at least one biological parent, of some sort.

Hmmm… I understand the Princesses, the mayor, and Cheerilee, as well as Twilight, Spike, Rarity, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle being there as Rainbow Adopts Scootaloo but…. why is Derpy there?

Scootaloo’s biological parents are Earth ponies. Her great great great great great great grandfather on her mom’s side happen to be a Pegasus. Her mother gave her to an orphanage in Ponyville. Headcanon.

Pretty soft for a Sony.
Today’s episode managed to capture a few important elements of Scootaloo’s upbringing. But the show still has not shown any signs of her biological parents.  
So I guess for a while longer, the fandom can continue their head canons.

I think this would have been more effective if some of these vectors were better suited to the picture (half the characters aren’t even looking at Dash or Scootaloo), and I still think Dash would be a pretty terrible parent, but still it’s a pretty cute idea.

Pretty soft for a Sony.
Hmmm. In season 2 she adopted a tortoise, and it appears that she managed to keep the tortoise alive, so.. she is slowly learning how to take care of living things?  
I really want Scootaloo to have a legitimate biological family, who takes care of her.  
But I can’t help but absorb the head canon of others that, some how, Scootaloo is a homeless orphan.
