I’d post something that viciously insults both the “artist” and the people who favorited this, but I know I shouldn’t.

I’d still like to though.

Oh man, it’s like looking into a mirror!
Only I don’t have all those sweet posters, I should get them somewhere.

Listen to this guy. He has the right idea.

With laughing about ourselves I meant “laughing about the ridiculous stereotype that our fandom generated of itself”. Damn, you people can be such nitpicks at times. Gosh.

Look, I’m Jewish and I my heritage is Polish. I regularly laugh my ass off at antisemitic and racist jokes. I’m also a gamer and every time someone mentions the stereotypical overweight antisocial gamer I chuckle.
Being able to recognize and laugh about parodies of yourself is part of being mature, guys. Many of you have yet to realize this, I guess.

I say drop the persecution complex and learn to let loose and laugh. The artist here clearly did the research, provided he doesn’t watch the show himself. And I really respect that. If nothing else, you can interpret it as “don’t become an obsessive shut-in like this guy.”

Also, I would totally try out a Red Pony energy drink. And I’m going to regret writing that.
Background Pony #EB24
I laugh at this just the same as I laugh at video gamer stereotypes even though I play video games, and laugh at anime fan stereotypes even though I love anime. It’s FUNNY.

I want that My Little Horny poster.

Oh, and this is hilarious. I don’t give a shit if it is meant to be offensive. I’m a Brony and I get a good laugh out of these.

@Draewa
It’s not even that creative, you could replace ponies with anime posters and the stereotype would be the same.

Joking about liking ponies means like “haha I guess I am doing something society considers weird,” not “I can laugh at things that are meant to cause people to be bigoted against me.”
Background Pony #0DAB
I find this image hilarious. You know why? Because the original artist is Shadman, whose website consists of nothing but drawn porn, most of it underage, futa, incest, rape, etc. Oh, and like two SFW comics which make fun of bronies and people who go to cons for being creepy.

“laugh about ourselves”?

Sorry, but I’m not 3-400 pounds, secluded in my room, have sexual depictions of ponies on my walls, and am not even male.

Shit like this isn’t about laughing about ourselves. it’s about depicting a stereotype out of maliciousness.
